If Barber Vintage Museum and it's Motorsport Park aren't on your "favorite tracks" list it's a pretty good bet you haven't been there. This year Ducati North America added Barbers to it's Ducati Island schedule and the result pumped up the volume on what has always been a really fun weekend. Join me for a visit to Barbers.

Barber Vintage Museum, Alabama and Ducati's. That's what this weekend was all about
Barber Museum is the largest and finest Motorcycle museum in the world. It's a perfect blend of art, motorcycles and green space
Floor after floor of remarkable machines are displayed in a space designed from the ground up to house them
At Barber's, art is scattered everywhere. it's part of the landscape, placed to surprise you with the unexpected.
Nature is respected in every form. On Friday, these guys were crossing the racetrack and practice was stopped to accomodate them. Ask Mr. Barber what wildlife he has on his property at any given time and he know's right down to the number of bird nests. This is a place where wildlife lives and people visit.
Motorcycles are displayed in unusual ways. The flow of the displays varies, this photo is from a wall of small Italian machines. The Ducati on the bottom is rare and unusal - it's an oil in the frame model
The creativity in displays includes these motorcycle "trees" which from this angle seem to have grown up thru the floors
Motorcycles on display range from very old to absolutely brand new. There is a Ducati Desmoseidici RR displayed in the basement shop. This is a 1919 John Motorwheel
And a whole room devoted to board trackers
